The mission of the Galveston Bed & Breakfast Association is a co-operative advertising and marketing group for broadening the public awareness and appreciation of Bed and Breakfast Inns on Galveston Island as the preferred source for personal and business lodging.

Press Policy

Because our bed & breakfasts are small properties, typically owner-occupied, they sometimes cannot be as generous with hosting members of the media as they might wish they could. Whenever possible they do enjoy cooperating with writers seeking more information on their area for a specific article goal. Some guidelines to consider when making your request:

• Sunday through Thursday night stays are preferred.
  
• There are many seasonal differences during the year in Galveston. Whenever possible we appreciate your consideration these differences may pose.
  
• We regret we do not have an airline partner to assist in your travel plans.
  
• Writer and one guest staying in the same room will be comped. Other family members or friends will typically be requested to pay the rack rate or a reduced rate.
  
• We request that a letter of assignment or an indication of intent for the story be furnished.
