The day moves into wonderful sightseeing.The Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, located at 23rd and Broadway, in the historic Ashton Villa, has many brochures available with planned activities for the day.Places of interest for you may be Moody Gardens, Bishop’s Palace, Ashton Villa, the “official tall ship of Texas, ELISSA, or an exciting cruise of the harbor on Seagull II, located at Texas Seaport Museum.There is something for everyone in Galveston, even if it is a quiet moment of reading or sunbathing on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.There are many popular lunch spots along the Seawall to enjoy the sights of the afternoon; the choice is yours.
Mid afternoon may look good to return to your Bed & Breakfast for a short nap and relaxation before thinking about the evening’s activities, which may include a performance at the historic 1894 Grand Opera House.
Saturday Evening
This may be a special night for you!Enjoy what your Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers do for you as you embark on either a relaxed, or sensuous evening.Your evening may consist of a pre-reserved dinner at another fine eating establishment and you may want your evening to start with a carriage ride through the historic districts and local shopping.Your Innkeeper can provide you with this information.
After your unique dining experience, it may be a perfect evening to go for a moonlight walk on the Seawall………it’s a great closure to a romantic evening.
Sunday Morning and Check-Out
